Not a direct answer but I think the approach we used to make the No Red Button video 'viral' are covered in this 'making of' article I wrote up for SSIR.

Briarpatch Magazine recently hosted a Meme workshop with ikotiKak (Amy Norman from Happy Valley Goose Bay) that was part of their Land Back Issue Launch. 

Amy went through their own values and etiquette when it comes to memeing, how to use meme generators, where to get inspiration for your memes, the importance of humour, and some of their favorite Indigenous memers. Amy also shared some hot tips throughout that I think would be useful to you!
